MEET ERIC
Eric grew up in the foodservice industry. His step-father (since Eric was 3yrs old) was the first manufacturer of plastic cutlery and straws in the ‘50’s and pioneered the foodservice disposables industry becoming the first supplier to businesses like McDonalds.
Eric was involved at a very early in manufacturing ventures in plastic cups and foodservice containers. He is a leading international expert on foodservice and retail packaging and founder of Packaging Resources.
He also is the Founder of US Restaurant Consultants. Concurrent with his packaging career he became a well-known consultant to leading foodservice multi-unit brands and retailers like McDonalds, Starbucks, Chipotle, Taco Bell, Panda Express, Wendy's, KFC, Qdoba, Cracker Barrel, Panera Bread, The Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, Outback, Carls Jr, Subway, Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robin, CPK, Jamba Juice, Costco, Walmart, Target and dozens of one-off chef driven concepts globally.
Eric got involved in his first restaurant business at age sixteen. The rest is history. In addition to starting his own ventures and assisting other global restaurant operators, Eric also is a designer and contractor and has worked on several notable operations.
Today, Eric and US Restaurant Consultants are recognized as one of the nation’s leading restaurant consulting firms. Eric has served as a Consulting Board Member of the California Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association's Consulting Board.
As the demand for delivery of food and other items boomed, Eric focused on developing an understanding of this channel and recognized the help foodservice operators, retailers, and other suppliers would need in successfully navigating this emerging channel. It meant new packaging, new logistics, training, software, menu selections, and choosing who to partner with.
Eric himself has over 25,000 deliveries under his belt. US Delivery Consultants are experienced and understand the plight of not only the delivery providers and their drivers, but also the needs of companies and brands looking to capitalize successfully on this trend without damaging their image and quality.
